The movie had Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone.Shreyas Talpade, and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles showcases the story of a strugghng actor Om Prakash Makhija (Shah Rukh Khan) fell in love with renowed actoress to 70s Shanti Priya (Deepika Padukone) secretelly married with a big producer Mukesh Mehra (Arjun Rampal) but twist in the tale comes Shanti reveals about her pragrency after Mukesh asks Shanti to abort the child as it could damage his image so he burn R,C Studio locking Shanti in. Now in rebirth struggling Om Prakash has become Superstar Om Kapoor and Superstar Shanti Priya has become a struggling actress Sandy  and how Om takes revenge of Shanti. 

Review

Om Shanti Om had everything that defines a perfect Bollywood Masala Entertainer 

with elements like star studded cast,  grand sets, chartbuster songs and emotional drama and a larger then life presentation. 

The movie marks a dream debut of Om Shanti Om . and her graceful screenpresence prefectly balance the Shah Rukh Khan's charishma with Farah Khan creating a magical blend of old Bollywood Nostalgia and modern cinematic storytelling.

The first half plays a beautiful tribute to  golden era of 70s Bollywood filled with humor, music and charp while the second half is shifted to a gripping revenge drama.

Shah Rukh Khan's double as Om Prakash Makhija and Om Kapoor cansidered as one of his most entertaining performence was funny, emotional and intense at the same time. 

Farah Khan's Biggest Spectacle  

After directing Main Hoon Na Farah Khan. Farah Khan everything a notch higher with Om Shanti Om. The movie's scale , production design and extravagent were ever seen in Bollywood at that time. 

She skillfully managed fantasy, reincernation and satire proving that commercial cinema can still carry emotional weight . Om Shanti Om was a celebration of Bollywood celebrating its star, drama and even its clichces .
